We are pleased to announce the hire of our newest Business Development Manager, Jodi Bailey, who has made an impact on the housing and development industry across Oregon and beyond!

With a deep level of experience, Jodi has sharpened her knowledge of our industry in traditional roles and by spreading out to critical associations that extend her reach and amplify her ability to bring like-minded people together to do good work. To the former, she honed her advanced sales and business development at companies like Area Floors and TerraFirma Foundation Systems, which flowed into the latter: leading in multiple business associations.

Jodi currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Home Builders Association and is the Vice-Chair of the Portland Professional Women in Building Council. She has previously served on the Happy Valley Planning Commission and as the Board Chair for the Willamette Falls Trust. Most recently Jodi was the Director of Membership for the Home Builders Association of Greater Portland, bringing together the home building community across Oregon, including her work with the Home Builders Foundation.

In both professional and volunteer roles, Jodi has been able to collaborate with industry leaders to bring focus to many of the greatest challenges of construction and design today. These include her staunch advocacy for affordable housing, women in construction, and bringing more trade education into schools. She has been able to advance the conversations about the future of our discipline and what best-in-class looks like going forward.

With Emerio Design, she looks forward to continuing this important work across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. As the Business Development Manager, she’ll work to expand our public and private contract opportunities, increase market awareness, and enhance our community profile. Being a key connection that many clients and community members engage with, she will help the organization expand its footprint and introduce the company to untapped growth opportunities.
