Mr. Lee joined the engineering field in 1976. He has ten years of international work experience in designing jackets and top sides for the oil and gas industry. During this time, he also gained experience in estimating construction costs and construction monitoring for port facilities and offshore structures. Rick also has 20 years of experience in the design of heavy industrial structures, i.e. paper machine support structures, wood chip stacking and reclaiming systems, pump transfer stations both above and below ground, refineries and recovery boilers. Joining the Emerio team in 2020, he has extensive experience with: ACI Concrete code slabs, pile caps, spread footings, matt foundations, AISC Steel code steel rigid and braced frames, utility bridges, transfer towers, boiler structures, heavy industrial structures both brown field and green field, masonry and wood structures residential and commercial, detailed knowledge of IBC and ASCE 7, knowledge of deep foundation design pile caisson, and micropiles.

In 2020, Rick adopted a Covid-19 puppy named Ruthie and can be found chasing her in his spare time.
