For more than 25 years, Neil has been a pace setter in the civil engineering space. In 2005, his diverse background in public works and private development led him to found Emerio Design—a best-in-class firm that could serve the needs of communities across the Pacific Northwest. With a gift for raising others up, he believes in foster connection, promoting collaboration, and amplifying DEI initiatives.
Through innovation and entrepreneurship, Neil has helped bring skilled engineering, surveying, and design to a variety of projects throughout Oregon and Washington. In addition, his tried-and-true business growth strategy has yielded a family of companies that are able to provide end-to-end engineering services to partners.
Originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, Neil enjoys spending time with his children, and investing in philanthropic causes like the B3 Foundation, on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, and as an Honorary Chair for the Home Builders Foundation. In addition, he is a die-hard OSU Beavers fan—and he represents his alma mater and the community well on the Board of Trustees for the OSU Foundation.
