Over the last decade, the common thread throughout Kathryn’s job experiences is helping staff and volunteer teams function at their highest capacity, and she enjoys the challenge of helping groups articulate goals, set organizational culture, and create systems to move the team forward. Although a background in music may seem like an odd fit for an engineering firm, she believes that musical ensembles have plenty to teach about life, working in teams, and striving together to accomplish the same goal while playing an individual role in the overall production. Kathryn joined the Emerio team in 2020.
A lifelong PNW resident, Kathryn can’t imagine living somewhere without both mountains and sea, and she loves trying to convince her little veggie garden to grow each spring and summer. She also loves to travel, and whether she’s exploring a new coffeeshop in Portland or hopping on a plane to somewhere over an ocean, you can count on her to be delighted by a delicious pastry or a local artist.
