Entering the field in 1993, Paul has vast experience as an Engineering Technologist. He specializes in Civil Highways and Railroad design and earthworks infrastructure associated with Oil and Energy industry. He has worked in the UK and Canada on Metro and high speed rail upgrades and new build projects and connected Highways and drainage diversions and re-routing. He also possesses Survey digital data compilation, processing and validation experience. In Canada and the Middle East he has designed oil and gas plant site final and rough grading, construction access and haul roads, pipeline corridors and drainage solutions. He has advanced knowledge of a wide range of civil and rail design computer software including Bentley and AutoDesk suite of products (Inroads, Civil3D, AutoCAD and Microstation).
Covering the corners of the globe, Paul was born and raised in London, England, before moving to Calgary, Alberta. He enjoys vacationing in Europe and the Far East, where he able to navigate easily speaking conversational Mandarin Chinese. A true soccer fan, Paul’s favorite team in England is West Ham United and when outdoors, enjoys hiking the Canadian Rockies and fly-fishing for trout.
