Entering the land surveying field in 1992, Eric has surveying experience covering multiple areas of expertise, including managing every aspect of survey projects from the initial cost estimating and scope of work, to topographic mapping, to seeing construction through to successful project completion. Eric began his surveying career in Juneau, Alaska, working on publicly funded projects for the city and working on remote sites for Kennecott and the Alaska-Juneau mines. Currently specializing in construction layout and site development, Eric joined the Emerio team in 2019 and also has extensive contract negotiation skills and project management expertise for both public and private sectors.
Born and mostly raised in the Portland/Vancouver area, Eric enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, and spending time in his woodshop making knives and other intricate wood projects. He has two grown sons, one currently deployed with the US Army overseas, and has been happily married to his wife Annette for over 25 years.
