Dwayne Kufchak, PLS
Sr. Land Surveyor
BS, Business Administration – Portland State University
AA, Accounting – Palomar Community College
Registration: Professional Land Surveyor – Oregon (75644PLS)
Starting his surveying career in 1996, Dwayne has many years of field experience prior to stepping into an office role, learning from the ground up. As a fan of history, surveying has been the perfect fit, providing the opportunity to ‘follow in the footsteps’ of previous surveyors as they laid out the lands from east to west, searching through recorded information and locating monuments set all the way back to the time of early Pacific Northwest settlement.
Over the years, Dwayne’s experience has included field data collection, drafting topographic base maps and digital terrain models, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, cell tower sites, foundation surveys, pre- and post-construction surveys, construction projects, boundary resolutions and subdivision plats, and managing projects from inception to completion.
Beyond work, he spends most of his time either fishing or getting ready to fish, tying flies, or hanging out around the house with his dogs and a good book.
