Working in the engineering field since 2004, Kyung joined the Emerio team in 2011. As a part of our Emerio Design production staff, Kyung prepares conceptual drawings as well as topographical and relief maps used in the planning and engineering of roadway and utility design projects. He works in coordination with the project designer and engineers to analyze survey data, photographs, sketches, notes and records to prepare construction plans and drawings for use in our submittals. One of Kyung’s specialties is site plan creation and coordination with survey teams, city reviewers, contractors and clients.
Arriving in the Portland-Metro area from South Korea at the age of 14, Kyung has claimed this city as home. He enjoys spending off hours camping, hiking, and bowling with his wife and son.
