PBOT’s Fixing Our Streets Ribbon Cutting

Portland Bureau of Transportation hosted a ribbon cutting last week, for one of the first projects constructed with the funds from the Fixing Our Streets program. This sidewalk infill project was engineered by Emerio and constructed by Raimore Construction, closing the gap in sidewalks along SE Flavel Street, NE 102nd Avenue and SE 112th Avenue, as well as adding 16 new ADA-compliant curb ramps. As a result, the new sidewalk network connects 2.25 miles of streets in East Portland with sidewalks on both sides of the street and provides safer access to schools, transit and work for neighborhood residents.
